The Blewett-Harrison-Lee Home & Museum was built in 1847 by Major Thomas Garton Blewett (1798-1871) in Columbus, Mississippi. Built as a private residence in the Italianate style, the property originally consisted of the entire city block.
Former resident of the home Stephen D. Lee (1833-1908) was founding president of Agricultural & Mechanical College (Mississippi State University).
Located at 316 Seventh Street North, the Stephen D. Lee Home is open for tours of the house as well as of the Florence McLeod Hazard Museum on the second floor.
The house can be booked for various events including weddings, meetings, parties, and showers.
We look forward to hosting your event today!
